No per-seat pricing, ever. An agency should be able to invite a client's whole staff without doing arithmetic first. Charging seats taxes exactly the behaviour that makes the software useful.
AI is never metered and never billed in arrears. Inference cost is unpredictable in a way hosting is not, and a surprise bill ends a relationship. Either it is an allowance included in a plan, or you bring your own key and pay your provider. When an allowance runs out the assistant stops — and the canvas, the content editor, the CLI and your site keep working.
Trying it
14 days, no card. Card-up-front cuts fraud and would cut out most of the market this is built for, where card access is limited; the trial is bounded by resource limits instead — one site, a subdomain, capped storage.
30-day money back, first month, no questions. Though the honest version is that hourly metering already means you can leave any hour and pay only for what you used, which is a stronger promise than a refund policy.
Top up by M-Pesa or pay by card. Invoices go to the organisation.
When payment fails
The part that decides whether "you own this" is true. In order:
- Seven days' grace. The site stays up. You are told.
- Then the site is suspended — it stops serving, and it is not deleted.
- Your export keeps working the entire time. Suspended, unpaid, whatever: the data is yours and the download is never withheld to force a payment.
- You can move to self-hosting at any point, including from a suspended account, and the software you move to is the one on this page — not a crippled edition.
We never hold data hostage. That is a design constraint, not a courtesy: the export is a plain database dump and the software is free, so withholding either would only damage us.
